JOURNEY OF THE SECOND SUN AND RA LIGHT MEXICO 10TH - 22ND JUNE 13 days
BACK TO MAIN FLIER ON JOURNEY

PLEASE EMAIL SOLUNTRA soluntra@evenstarcreations.com IF YOU INTEND COMING OR ARE THINKING ABOUT IT.
I HAVE MORE INFORMATION TO SEND ON THE SACRED SITES, AS WELL AS OTHER INFORMATION AND THE INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE IN WORD DOC FOR EASIER PRINTING OUT that I can email you on attached.

YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK YOUR OWN HOTEL ROOMS
If you would like to share a room then let me know and I can link you up with others coming and help organise it.
I have listed three hotels in Mexico City all near the Zocola and Templo Major, the ancient pyramids and temples now underground here. Some areas have been excavated and the rest is covered with buildings and roads, the hotels are over the site of the central pyramid and temple area and vortex and star alignment of Antares (brightest star in Scorpius) the gate keeper to the Inner Realms there and though the Inner Earth.

IN  MEXICO CITY
For Monday 9th or earlier? ...Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th...2 nights for the group but 3 nights preferable to start 4pm 10th June
and 15th June.
Or more nights prior if you wish to come to Tepoztlan with me on 9th and as a group we will be back in Mexico City on Sunday 15th after being at Teotihuacan.
You may also want to stay the night of the 16th if you decide to stay the extra night in Mexico City and fly morning 17th to Cancun.
Please read below in Internal Flights and Transfers.
The actual group starts 4pm on June 10th Tuesday, I am arriving on evening of Saturday 7th June and on Monday 9th I will be going out to
TEPOZTLAN. You may want to arrive by 8th to come if you feel guided.
A day trip to the pyramid and town of Tepoztlan, south of Mexico City. Tepoztlan is the birthplace of Quetzalcoatl and the pyramid is on the cliff above the town with a one and half hour walk to the top for those fit and willing. The pyramid was built in honour of Tepoztecatl, Aztec God of the harvest and fertility. Those who do not want to walk can enjoy this interesting town with alternative and arty appeal and ambience.
This is a major vortex point and crystalline grid cross-over point, with Mothership and many Light Ships through the doorway here.
I can do a group booking at a hotel I have stayed before with a group that is right near the Zocalo and was only $20USD a night in 2005, but they are only contactable by phone or fax and language is a problem so I would need to know by May 22nd if you want a room there and if single, double or twin.
Or you can try yourself HOTEL SAN ANTONIO 20 Callejon 5 de Mayo No.29 ph +52 55 5518 1625 or 1626 Fax 5512 9906 I am going to try and pre-book 2 singles and 3 twins before I go to Asia.
We want to stay in this area there are a lot of hotels nearby and if you have a Lonely Planet guide book you can see them all, Hotel Canada is right next door for a little more.
You can check with www.hotelclub.com  or other hotel booking sites that you can google and book a hotel near the Zocalo the area is termed Centro Historico.
Across from the San Antonio is the Hotel Canada which was in 2005 $30USD
 Av. 5 de mayo no.47 tel: +52 55 18 21 06 fax: +52 55 55 12 93 10
or just up the road the Holiday Inn  Av Cinco De Mayo 61 Col Centro Mexico City, 06000 right overlooking the Zocola. It is not that expensive at $76USD/night or $83.10AUD and $97.22AUD with taxes you can book direct online
http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/660/en/home or google hoildayinn.com in the search box.... and it will come up for your country, there will also be a free phone number
I have been guided to stay here so trusting to have a room big enough to do group meditations in private, they do not have a conference room. but the location is fantastic, at the San Antonio the rooms are very small and no space to use that is private. You may want to stay also or see if you can share, otherwise it is only walking distance. I have always stayed at the San Antonio's but keep getting to stay at the Holiday Inn this time.
Let me know which place feels right for you energy wise/money wise.

See below for summary hotel dates of costs for accommodation, travel.
If you do not want to book on line and want to stay at one of the budget hotels I will be arriving evening of 7th so can see if I can book you a room when I arrive as well.

You can book through this site or the one below seems to include breakfast for the same price. I
and http://www.cancuntravel.com/hotelrooms.asp?id=487 … European plan same price
If this is too expensive for you then there is a budget hotel nearby as well as other little places to stay in the village but I do not think you can book them.

In Tulum
Saturday 21st Sunday 22nd and longer if you want to chill out after we finish.

You can book your room on the internet to save hassles or try your luck when we arrive. But on the beach the cabanas are stretched for some distance and on the website here you can see them all and their location. http://www.hotelstulum.com/beach_hotels.htm
I have found one that is budget at $30USD a night for single/double with share bathroom and electricity in the evening only, pretty basic. We will only be here two nights unless you want to stay longer after we finish. There are 20 of these cabanas so we could all be together, there are also 3 cottages with 2 double beds $100USD a night so $50USD each if you want to share. http://www.hotelstulum.com/Papaya_Playa/
If you want some where better then
here is the place i stayed last time http://www.hotelstulum.com/Paraiso/rooms-rates.htm after I finished with the group. The price has gone up since 2005 and also places along the beach are expensive but its nice to be there and in town is not exactly suitable for our work. Also our currency exchange is in our favour, $1AUD = .9156 cents US
click here to get in your currency http://www.xe.com/
Go and check out the places and let me know how you feel and I can try and get a group booking or its easy to do your own. let me know if you want to share.

INTERNAL FLIGHTS AND TRANSFERS
When you arrive at Mexico City it is easy to get a safe taxi from the Airport.
As you come out into the public area of the airport turn left and go out the doors there are two taxi booths there. One is a lot more expensive so check out both prices which are up on boards. You will be going to the Historico Area, you pay at the booth and get a ticket and give it to the next cab inline.
Do not let anyone take your bags and put you in a taxi, get your ticket first.

In Mexico City we will be using the tube, taxis and either bus out to Tula or van and I will organise a van to take us out to Teotihuacán when we go there on the 12th June and return 15th. I can also organise a van to the airport if we are flying at similar times to Cancun and also Shuttle from Cancun Airport to Coba.
I am not sure of exact costs of all this as it depends on per person etc but allow $300AUD for transfers and shuttles.

i am flying at 8am Monday 16th to Cancun and going to Isla Mujeres for the night of 16th. There is a Goddess temple at the end of the island and
I took the group there in 2004 in our vans, but do not feel we need to be there as a group this time, but if you feel to join me then book a
flight at that time and day.
The best place I find and cheapest to book my flights is on www.jetaboard.com  which is an Australian based company and they can get you anyway with lots of choices of costs and airlines. My flight to Mexico City from Auckland NZ was $700AUD cheaper than what it was on the Qantas site, even though I am still flying with them and Mexicana from LA to Mexico City return. It does not matter what country you are booking from.
On jetaboard there is a 7.50am flight out on 16th with Mexicana airlines and return say 24th for $442.40AUD
My Flight to Cancun is below, I  am not on a return fare so its a different airline to the return fare above
Mon 16 Jun 8:00 AM Mexico City Aeropuerto Internacional (MEX) Aviacsa 6A473 Mexico City-Cancun Economy arrives Cancun at 10am
(I am/we can book a shuttle from the Airport to the ferry for the island if ypu feel to join).
SHUTTLES DO NOT HAVE TO BE BOOKED UNTIL 2 DAYS BEFORE

Or if you want to stay somewhere else on 16th like Cancun or Playa Del Carmen or Tulum then it would still be good to be on the same time flights for shuttle to Mexico City airport and shuttle to where you want to be on the Mexican Caribbean.

You may want to fly on 17th from Mexico City to Cancun and just get a shuttle to Coba, it is a bit of a journey with public transport, as you would need a taxi from Cancun Airport to the Bus Station in Cancun, then bus to Tulum and then depending on when there is a bus from Tulum to Coba, in the afternoon,
I cannot get times on the internet, and you book bus tickets at the bus station.
Distance of Cancun to Tulum which is down the Coast is 131km and approximately one hour 30 minutes car or van time.
Then inland from Tulum to Coba is 46kms and 30 minutes.

For those who may want to stay an extra day 16th in Mexico City and fly on 17th then we can meet you at the airport in a shuttle van on our way to Coba.
If you could be at the Cancun airport by 1.30pm for pickup on 17th or 1pm from Cancun.
Tune into what times and day you want to fly to Cancun and let me know so I can organise the Shuttles once I know how many of us there are.
For this to happen if you could book your flight at 8am 16th June or around 11.30am on 17th June to arrive at Cancun at 1.30pm for pick up to Coba.

From Coba to Tulum I should be able to organise a transfer to our cabanas at Tulum Beach.
We will probably need to travel to the ruins in taxis unless we are close or you enjoy walking along the beach to the ruins.
We can also share hire cars or vans for further travels or from Cancun Airport.

WE ARE IN OFF PEAK...HIGH SEASON STARTS IN JULY AND WE ARE BEFORE CYCLONE SEASON

AIRFARES
Your airfare will be from your home to MEXICO CITY to arrive by noon the 10th June at latest,

MEXICO CITY TO CANCUN on the 16th or 17th  June
Aero Mexico and Mexicana as well as a few others fly everyday at many times and your return ticket on 23rd June or after.... if you want a day or more at the Caribbean,
then leaving from MEXICO CITY back home.

Or you may want to travel south or to Guatemala or Honduras and fly out from another country back to Mexico City or USA or Central or South America.
